Church of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton

Adult Faith Formation

Have you never been baptized, or

would you like to receive

First Holy Communion, or be confirmed?

Come and participate in our OCIA program!

Do you attend Sunday Mass every week with your family and wish you could join in Holy Communion with everyone? Do you know someone that is missing one or more of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confirmation)? Were you turned down once upon a time from being a god parent because you were never confirmed?

We invite you to start a conversation about these things and to enter into a discussion about what solutions the Church can offer. Beginning in October, we will start classes for Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA).

At Nativity, classes start Wednesday September 18, 2024 at 6:00 pm in the Parish Center.   But, it's not too late!

If you are interested in learning about OCIA, please contact:

Deacon Paul Virgilio at paul.virgilio@dor.org for Nativity.

We encourage adult members to continue to grow in their understanding of God through our rich Roman Catholic tradition and Holy Scripture. To this end, we also offer special programming with discussions that we hope you will engage in. We look to the adults as examples of great stewards of the church.

We encourage everyone to find a ministry they can participate in--or try a few, to help you develop your faith.

Go to Get Involved to find your ministries.
